Allen Hackett Scholarship for Students in Wildlife Fish and Conservation Biology

This award is restricted to students studying in the Department of Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology who demonstrate financial need and are interested in wildlife habitat conservation or restoration.

Andrew and Alison Broaddus Family Foundation

Scholarships to one or more entering freshmen or transfer students who meet the leadership criteria of the CAAA Scholarship Program. Preference given to students from Yolo County, Contra Costa County, and Mendocino County.

Andrew M. Siverson Scholarship

This award is restricted to students in the Department of History in the College of Letters and Science with a minimum GPA of 3.5.

Anita M. Oberbauer and James L. Aborn Companion Animal Scholarship

This scholarship supports continuing undergraduate students of junior or senior standing with a declared major in either Animal Science or Animal Science and Management and an interest in companion animals. Preference will go to students specializing in Companion and Captive Animals and those considering career options beyond veterinary medicine.

Ann E. Pitzer Scholarship

This award is restricted to California undergraduate students who have demonstrated financial need, with a preference for women.

Ann M. Evans Scholarship

This award is restricted to California residents in the College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences majoring food science with a specialization in consumer food science, sustainable agriculture and food systems, or nutrition science with a specialization of nutrition in public health.

Anne Noel Fazio Scholarship

This award is restricted to students who have experienced serious medical difficulties related to leukemia or cancer during their adolescence and who have demonstrated their commitment to pursue their education in the face of those associated challenges.

Ariat International, Inc. Scholarship Support Fund (G)

This scholarship provides support for undergraduate students in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences who are pursuing a major in Animal Science, Animal Biology, Animal Science and Management, or Agricultural and Environmental Technology. This award is restricted to undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need in the College of Biological Sciences studying Physiology (NPB). At least 50 units of major required science courses must be completed.

Barbara D. Bearden Scholarship

This award is restricted to students studying plant science who have a specialization in floriculture/nursery management.

Barbara Hussey Riggins Scholarship

This scholarship is restricted to a child or grandchild of Antioch CA classroom teacher, regardless of the applicant or if the relative is still employed, retired or deceased. Second preference is for graduates of Antioch High School.

Barbara Lee Iten Memorial Scholarship

Undergraduate in senior standing who plans to pursue a graduate degree in preparation for a career in medicine or medical research. First preference is for female student athletes (minimum two year participation in sport). Second preference is for male student athletes (minimum two year participation in sport). Third preference is for non-athletes.

Barrall Family Philosophy Scholarship

This award is restricted to juniors majoring in philosophy who have a history of community service or other activities that demonstrate an ongoing personal interest in bettering society and the world in general.

Be Kind Philosophy Scholarship

This scholarship supports undergraduate student(s) with demonstrated financial need. Preference shall be given to students who meet one or both of the following criteria:

Current member of Kappa Alpha Theta at UC Davis
Descendant of a Beta Kappa Phi or Kappa Alpha Theta member

Beeghley-Merritt Scholarship

Students are selected for this award by a special committee comprised of officials from Davis and Woodland high schools. The Beeghly-Merritt Scholarship is restricted to students from Davis or Woodland high schools who are accepted at UC Davis and plan to enroll within three years after the year of high school graduation. To be considered, students must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.5 and have had significant employment during their high school tenure which demonstrated independence and self-reliance. This is a non-renewable award.

Ben A. Madson Scholarship

This award is restricted to upper-division students who are U.S. citizens and who are studying range management, plant science or international agricultural development with specialization in agronomy. A special committee from the Agronomy and Range Science Department has recommended you for this scholarship. Students must maintain a minimum UC cumulative GPA of 3.25 and complete the Continuing Undergraduate Scholarship Application each year to be considered for renewal.

Ben L. Hagglund Scholarship

This award is restricted to students majoring in Biological Systems Engineering who are from Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona or Utah. Recipients must also qualify for financial aid.

Bengard Family Scholarship

This scholarship supports students in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences studying agriculture. To receive the award, students must be from Monterey, San Benito, Tehama, Shasta, Plumas, Imperial, Ventura, Fresno, Kern, and Merced counties.

Bert A. Reinero Scholarship

This award is restricted to students majoring in Agriculture with a demonstrated financial need.

Bettencourt Memorial Scholarship

This award is restricted to students who have scholastic potential with demonstrated financial need.

Billings Family Scholarship in Agricultural Sciences

This scholarship supports students from Kern county majoring in the Agricultural Sciences division in CAES, or pursuing a Managerial Economics major with a specialty in Agricultural Economics

Blair Fox Memorial Scholarship (E)

This scholarship supports students with majors or concentrations in Managerial Economics or Economics. Preference will be given to applicants who have demonstrated an interest in international affairs, the study of a second language, global geography, and/or politics.

This scholarship supports students with majors or concentrations in Managerial Economics or Economics. Preference will be given to applicants who have demonstrated an interest in international affairs, the study of a second language, global geography, and/or politics.

Blanche L. Price Endowment Scholarship

Recipients of this award are recommended by the University Farm Circle Scholarship Committee. The award is restricted to undergraduate women who have displayed scholarship, leadership, service and participation in extracurricular activities and who have shown evidence of overcoming disadvantage (including financial). Preference is given to residents of the San Francisco Housing project.

Bob Munyon Award

This award is restricted to third- and fourth-year undergraduate or graduate students in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at UC Davis.

Boyd Scholarship

This award is restricted to undergraduate students who are U.S. Citizens and are their family's first generation to attend a four-year college. Preference is given to students from Northern California. Students must maintain a minimum UC cumulative GPA of 3.25 and complete the Continuing Undergraduate Scholarship Application each year to be considered for renewal.

Boyd Scholarship (G)

This award is restricted to undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens and are their family's first generation to attend a four-year college. Preference is given to students from a Sacramento County high school. Students must maintain a minimum UC cumulative GPA of 3.25 and complete the Continuing Undergraduate Scholarship Application each year to be considered for renewal.

This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrates excellent scholarship and character with demonstrated financial need.

Bruce and Diane Edwards Endowment Scholarship

This award is restricted to undergraduates who are first generation college students with financial need.

Bruce Daigh Scholarship Fund in Economics and Political Science

This scholarship is restricted to excellent students in Economics and Political Science who have demonstrated financial need.

Bruno and Audrey Bracka Scholarship

This award is restricted to students in the College of Letters and Science who have declared German as their major or minor. Students must maintain a minimum UC cumulative GPA of 3.25 and complete the Continuing Undergraduate Scholarship Application each year to be considered for renewal.

CAES Dean's Circle Scholarship

The award is restricted to entering transfer students in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Each of the three divisions of the College, Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Sciences and Human Sciences, is to be represented by a recipient based on his/her major. The scholarship is renewable for one additional year as long as recipients maintain scholarship eligibility, remain in good academic standing and reapply through the undergraduate scholarship application annually. Undeclared/Exploratory program students must declare a CAES major when 90 units are achieved.

CALESS Scholarship

This award is restricted to undergraduate students majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) majors, who are members of the Chicano and Latino Engineers and Scientists Society (CALESS), have a cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0, and have demonstrated financial need.

Captain Ed Student Prize

This award is restricted to undergraduate students in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences

Carl L. Garrison Scholarship

This award is awarded based on recommendation from the Department of Animal Science. It is restricted to upper-division students in the Department who are planning a career in livestock production.

Carlton Family Fund Award

This scholarship is restricted to students who are from Yuba County, California, studying within the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

If there is no qualifying students from Yuba County, California in any given year, the Award may be given to other deserving students within the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

Carol Lee Coss Memorial Scholarship

This award is restricted to undergraduate students with demonstrated creativity and community involvement or participation in extracurricular activities. It is restricted to students majoring in landscape architecture, art history, art studio, cinema and digital media, theatre and dance, design, or music.

Carolyn F. Wall Endowed Scholarship

This award is restricted to students in the College of Letters and Science with financial need.

Cecilia E. Murphey Scholarship

This award is restricted to deserving agriculture students from the Elk Grove-Sacramento and Yolo Counties area who demonstrate financial need.

Central Valley Scholarship

This award is restricted to undergraduate students who have expressed an interest in working and living in California's Central Valley after graduation from UC Davis.

Charles A. and Violet E. Stenson Scholarship

This award is restricted to students who have made upper division standing and are pursuing careers that require at least one additional year of graduate school. Students must demonstrate financial need. Students must maintain a minimum UC cumulative GPA of 3.25 and complete the Continuing Undergraduate Scholarship Application each year to be considered for renewal.

Charles and Eva Hess Scholarship

This award is restricted to junior and senior year agriculture students with a demonstrated potential and passion for production agriculture. Students must intend to pursue a career in that field.

Charles Linderman Scholarship

This award is restricted to financially needy students who demonstrate the desire and ability to engage in the practice of democracy in their neighborhoods, cities and states. Recipients must be in the College of Letters and Science and Political Science/Public Service majors are preferred.

Charles P. Watts Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial assistance to students, with a preference for students who are majoring in a field related to animal husbandry and/or who are engaged in college athletics.

Charles R. Bishop Award

This award is restricted to students in the College of Letters and Science.

Chau-Hsiung Chuang Scholarship

This award is restricted to students majoring in human development and family services or community and regional development in recognition of the outstanding commitment by departmental faculty.

Christine Diane Fisher Scholarship

The recipients for this award are nominated from a committee from the International Relations and Spanish Department. This award is restricted to students studying abroad in Spain and majoring in International Relations or Spanish Literature or Language.

Clara M. Love Scholarship

Any high achieving undergraduate, with preference is to be given first to descendants of Clara M. Love and if there are no descendants, then any student who meets scholarship eligibility at UC Davis and have financial need.

Clare E. Ficklin Scholarship

This award is restricted to students majoring in political science and who have a passion for politics, as evidenced through participation in student government, political groups and/or through career aspirations or study plans.

This scholarship is awarded to a high achieving student of any area of study.

This scholarship is awarded to a high achieving student of any area of study.

Clement and Jeanne Pelissier Scholarship

This award is restricted to students majoring in Animal Science that are recommended by the Department of Animal Science with a preference for students interested in the field of dairy cattle.

Cliff and Jane Carpenter Memorial Fellowship

This award is restricted to students majoring in food science and technology and/or nutrition.

Colombo Family Scholarship

This scholarship is restricted to an undergraduate student in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics with demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to a student from Marin County.

Constant M. and Tempest B. van Vlierden Scholarship in Sustainable Agriculture

This award is restricted to students in the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences majoring in sustainable agriculture with a preference for students who have demonstrated financial need and are from Marin County. In addition, when possible, preference will be given to reentry students.

Cusumano Family Scholarship in CAES

This award is restricted to undergraduate students in the agricultural sciences division within the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Students eligible for this award will have expressed interest in careers in production agriculture.

This award is restricted to male students of at least sophomore standing who are natives and residents of California who have a financial need.

David Britz Scholarship in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences

This award is restricted to undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need, in the College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences. The students must be majoring in one of the following programs: Biotechnology, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems, or Viticulture and Enology. David Risling Intertribal Award

This award is restricted to California Native American students with financial need. Students are required to show documentation verifying tribal membership. The scholarship may be renewable; students will need to apply each year and complete a FAFSA verifying financial need.

Davis Agricultural Scholarship

This award is restricted to students who are studying agricultural science.

Debbie and Rick Yaver Scholarship in Molecular and Medical Microbiology

Supports undergraduates in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences who are from Monterey County, California or Yuma County, Arizona.

Dooley Family Scholarship

This award is restricted to students in the College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences who come from the Central Valley.

Dr. Bahman Sheikh Memorial Award (E)

This award is for students pursuing a degree focused on developing and implementing sustainable solutions for water resources management, including water recycling, that support agriculture, industry, and healthy communities.

Dr. Hafiz Sahar Scholarship

This award is restricted to students from Afghan decent with demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Richard Noble and Dr. Susan A. Richardson Scholarship

Edward Dussich Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded to students engaged in pre-med studies with the intention of pursuing a career in medicine as a physician and who are 20 years old or younger during their senior year.

Edward E. and Viola F. Fair Undergraduate Scholarship

This scholarship supports students studying environmental sciences in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

Edward F. Kraft Scholarship

This award is restricted to undergraduate students from Tehama County who are not in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

Eileen and Rob Tobias Class of 1986 Award

This scholarship supports College of Engineering students. The award will have first preference to those students in the college who are on the UC Davis Football team, then second preference to any student athlete in the College of Engineering, and then third preference is for College of Engineering students who have need.

Elizabeth G. Hosselkus Scholarship

This award is restricted to students majoring in animal science and requires the recommendation of a special committee of faculty from the Department of Animal Science.

Elizabeth P. Wood Scholarship-Loan

This scholarship is awarded to students from the state of California with first preference to students from Placer County. A scholarship-loan is an award which is made with no legal requirement that it be repaid.

Ellen C. Schwartz Scholarship

This award is restricted to incoming freshmen who are graduates of Calistoga High School or any other Napa or Sonoma County high school. Recipients must have demonstrated financial need.

Ellen C. Thomason Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a student by the Department of Environmental Horticulture in recognition and is restricted to undergraduate students majoring in environmental horticulture with preference to students who demonstrate financial need.

This award is restricted to undergraduates in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences who were participants in of Future Farmer of America and graduated from Linden Union High School who have demonstrated financial need.

Esther A. Pitchford Scholarship

This scholarship is restricted to undergraduate students in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences who were former members of a 4-H club or Future Farmers of America for at least three years prior to graduation from high school.

Eugene Harvey Bush Scholarship

This award is restricted a high achieving undergraduates.

Eugene S. Martin Memorial Scholarship

This award is restricted to incoming freshman undergraduates who demonstrates financial need and have a declared major in electrical engineering. The student must be a California resident. Preference for students from either the San Joaquin County or Santa Clara County. Students must maintain a minimum UC cumulative GPA of 3.25, maintain scholarship eligibility, and complete the Continuing Undergraduate Scholarship Application each year.

This scholarship is restricted to outstanding undergraduate or graduate students in the Department of Food Science and Technology.

Francis J. Saunders Scholarship

Supports undergraduate students with financial need in the College of Agriculture and Environmental Studies with a first preference for who are from farm families and a second preference for students from small towns or open country of a member or former member of FFA or 4-H.

Frank A. Mesple Memorial Scholarship

This award is restricted to upper-division students majoring in political science or political science/public service who are interested in California state and/or local governments.

- Primary consideration for this Award shall be given to an undergraduate student who has graduated from Boron High School, located in Boron, CA. It is our hope that the Funds will have a deep impact on a graduate from Boron High School, alleviating the financial burden of attending UC Davis by covering the cost of attendance. This award is restricted to a high achieving students selected by the University Farm Circle Organization. One prize is restricted to a re-entry undergraduate at least 25 years of age, high scholastic achievement, community service, work experience, goals and motivation.

Urban Family Scholarship

This award is restricted to high achieving students with financial need

Urbano Family First Generation Scholarship

The scholarship is for a student of Latin American descent who has demonstrated financial need, with a preference for individuals from Yolo County who are first generation college students. The Scholarship alternates support between the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and the College of Letters & Science. It may be renewable, as long as the recipient maintain good academic standing and demonstrate financial need, for up to four years.

Verne E. and Katinka G. Mendel Scholarship

This scholarship supports a student in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior in the College of Biological Sciences

Vincent V. C. Woo Hong Kong Undergraduate Scholarship

To provide student support for undergraduate students who completed high school in Hong Kong.

Violet E. Wilson Scholarship

This award is restricted to descendants of Violet E. Wilson who have financial need or to graduates of Benicia High School with demonstrated financial need

W. Harry Lange, Jr. Memorial Current Use Scholarship Fund

This scholarship supports undergraduates who have a declared major in Entomology. Preference for the Scholarship will be awarded to students who have demonstrated financial need.

W. Landon Heffner Scholarship

This award is restricted to students in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences who are reentry or non-traditional undergraduates.

WALTER A. ROBINSON SMASH SCHOLARSHIP

Supports undergraduate student(s) who participated in any SMASH program throughout the country prior to being admitted to UC Davis.

Walter D. Buehler Scholarship

This scholarship is restricted to upper division Civil Engineering students interest in a career in structural engineering in the Sacramento area.

Walter R. and Carolyn J. Schoenfeld Scholarship

This award is restricted to students in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences with demonstrated financial need.

Ward Fenton Robinson Award

This scholarship is restricted to US citizens in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences who are studying production agriculture, particularly vegetable crop production, with a preference for students who are graduates of any public or private high schools located in the incorporated area of Modesto, Stanislaus County, California.

Wasson Family Scholarship

This award is restricted to undergraduate students enrolled and majoring in the Department of Chemical Engineering and the Department of Materials Science.

Wasson Family Scholarship for Education Abroad

This award is restricted to students enrolled and majoring in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials who participate in the UC Davis Education Abroad Program.

William "Bill" Coates Memorial Award

This award will be given to one continuing undergraduate student in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Preference will be given to a student with a declared major in Plant Science with a demonstrated interest and/or background in tree nuts and/or fruits. Preference will also be given to a student who has shown a commitment to the student experience at UC Davis through participation in official UC Davis student clubs/organization affiliations and/or other UC Davis sponsored extracurricular activities that contribute to a positive, well-rounded UC Davis experience.

William & Linda Sullivan Environmental Sciences Scholarship

This scholarship supports students who are studying environmental sciences in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

William & Natalie Grossi Scholarship

This scholarship is restricted to graduates of St. Vincents - St. Patricks High School of Vallejo, California. The student must have achieved a GPA of 3.5 during their time at St. Vincents - St. Patricks High School and have a declared major in engineering, pre-law, pre-medicine, physics, biology, chemistry, math, history, political science or computer science.

William and Charlotte Lider Scholarship

Undergraduate students in one of the majors in the Department of Plant Sciences, within College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, with demonstrated financial need.

William B. Jameson Scholarship

This award is restricted to sophomore male students in the College of Letters & Science who have demonstrated financial need.

William Denman Scholarship

This award is restricted to undergraduate students studying philosophy, comparative religions, and international relations.

William Oliver Music Scholarship

This award is restricted to high-achieving students studying music.

William Sr. & Jewel Sims Award

The scholarship is restricted entering freshmen majoring in any of the degrees offered by the Department of Plant Sciences in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

William Turrentine Jackson Scholarship

This recipient for this award is nominated by the faculty of the History Department. The award is restricted to upper-division majors in the department who have a demonstrated interest in the history of the United States.

Wu Family Scholarship

This award is restricted to first year undergraduate students in the College of Engineering, who are California residents and have demonstrated financial need. Preference is for women.

Xu Family Scholarship

This scholarship provides support to students majoring in Animal Science, Animal Biology, Animal Science and Management, or any other field related to food animals. Preference is for recipients to be a student who attended secondary school in China prior to matriculation at UC Davis.

Yampol-Egerman Scholarship

This award is restricted to students who have participated in extracurricular activities such as student government, campus newspaper, or other groups and organizations, which indicate a goal of helping to improve society.

Yit Kiu and Sik Yit Kwong Scholarship

This scholarship is restricted to students majoring in Design.

Yoshimi and Grace Shibata Scholarship

This scholarship is restricted to undergraduate students in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.
